These artwork sketches and mixed media studies represent an essential part of my creative practice. ​ Sketching allows me to explore ideas and give shape to thoughts and feelings that emerge before they become fully realised paintings. Some of these sketch art pieces form the foundation for larger works, whilst others exist as standalone explorations in their own right. Each study captures a moment of experimentation, stepping away from the immediate pressures of commissioned work to let ideas flow freely. My sketches range from bold, colourful compositions to contemplative black and white studies made with ink at my living room table. Whether exploring geometric forms or organic, flowing lines, I use sketch art to experiment with concepts rather than capture reality.
