🌍 Shipping & Returns
I want your new artwork to arrive safely and hassle-free! Below are the details on how I ship, your options, and my promise for returns.
📦 Artwork Shipping Overview
Origin - All artwork is shipped directly from my studio in Spain.
Carrier - I use UPS Door-to-Door Delivery service.
Insurance - Your package is fully insured until it is safely signed for by the recipient.
Tracking - As soon as the shipping has been arranged, I will send you the tracking details and the estimated arrival date. Please note that for international shipments the estimated arrival date is liable to change as it passes through export and import customs checks, so please do monitor its progress.
Delivery - A signature is required upon delivery. If no-one will be home, you can usually rearrange delivery to a local UPS drop-off point.
Processing Time - I ship as soon as possible, usually within 2–3 working days after payment. I will notify you immediately of any rare delays (e.g., transport strikes).

UK & EU Customers: I offer FREE Shipping to all countries in the European Union and to the UK.

Rest of the World: I offer Discounted Shipping (I cover approximately 50% of the actual cost). The final price, which includes shipping insurance, is shown at checkout.

⚠️ Important Note on International Orders (Duties & Taxes)
The purchaser is responsible for paying any import duties, customs fees, tariffs, or taxes levied by the destination country's government. These are not included in your final price at checkout.

I cover the cost of any Spanish (Export) customs inspections.

You are responsible for fees from your local Customs Authorities (Import Inspections).
Special Information for UK and US Customers

United Kingdom (UK)

Due to post-Brexit VAT laws, the minimum order value must be €165 to process your shipment. Any orders below this amount will be cancelled and fully refunded.

Art attracts a reduced rate of 5% VAT upon entry to the UK. This is payable either online or upon delivery.

United States (US) While works of art are currently exempt from the 2025 US tariffs (as of November 17, 2025), this may change and there may still be minor customs fees due if your package is selected for a full physical inspection by US authorities.
🖼️ Stretched vs. Rolled Shipping (Saving You Money)
Shipping large, stretched canvases worldwide can be very expensive. I offer an alternative to help you save:

Rolled Shipping is FREE Worldwide.

The painting is carefully removed from its wooden frame (stretcher bars) and rolled into a secure shipping tube.

Your Cost: You will need to take the rolled canvas to a local framer or gallery to have it re-stretched upon arrival (at your cost).

Need to roll? Please contact me to discuss this option. It is not always possible, but I am happy to arrange it if feasible.

Please note: All my artwork measurements are in metric (centimetres), unless otherwise stated. Please ensure your local framer is aware of this.
↩️ Returns & Damages
My 14-Day Guarantee
I want you to love your artwork! If you are not happy for any reason (excluding commissioned artwork), you have 14 days from the delivery date to arrange for it to be returned.

Condition: The artwork must be returned in its original condition and packaging.

Refund: A full refund of the original artwork price (shipping not included) will be issued once I receive and inspect the piece.

Damage on Return: If the piece is returned damaged (and the damage was not reported upon arrival), I will make deductions from your refund to cover repair costs (if possible).
Returns Due to Unpaid Import Fees
If the artwork is returned to me because you chose not to pay the required import fees/taxes:

The FULL cost of the return shipping will be deducted from your refunded amount.

The refund will only be processed once I have been notified by the courier of the additional cost for them to return the package.

It is your responsibility to have the outstanding import charges nullified or cancelled with the carrier/customs authority.
Digital products
No refunds will be given for digital download products. If you have a problem with downloading the item, please get in touch and we'll sort it out.
🚨 Damage in Transit (Action Required Immediately!)
All artwork is carefully checked for damage before it is packed. If your painting arrives damaged, you must report all damage within 24 hours of receiving the package.
DO NOT DISCARD THE PACKAGING!
In order to process the insurance claim, you will need to send me clear photos of the following:

The artwork inside its original packaging.

The damage to the artwork.

The damage to the exterior packaging.

The shipping label on the box.
As soon as I have these photos, I will immediately initiate the transit insurance claim. Once the claim is registered, Iwill be in touch to discuss your options, which will always include a full refund, but we can also discuss if a repair or replacement may be appropriate.
🎨 Commissions & Bespoke Orders

Commissions: Shipping for commissioned pieces will be discussed and agreed upon specifically at the time of defining your commission.

Commission Returns: Commissioned artwork is excluded from the 14-day return policy.
📜 General Terms

Cooling Off Period: There is a 14-day cooling-off period for any non-commissioned artwork purchased directly from my website.

Defects/Discrepancies: Any defects or significant discrepancies from the advertised product must be reported within 7 days of receiving the item. If this is reported, I will make all efforts to repair or rectify the issue. If that is not possible, I will offer a full or partial refund.
