International Art Shipping from Spain
I want your artwork to arrive safely, securely, and without stress.
This page explains how your artwork is packed, shipped, insured, and protected for collectors in the UK, US, EU, and worldwide.
📦 Artwork Shipping Overview
Origin
All artwork is shipped directly from my studio in Asturias, Spain.
Certification
Every artwork includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity issued by the artist.
Carrier
I use UPS or Fedex Door to Door Delivery service.
All deliveries require a signature.
Your artwork will never be left unattended outside.
Insurance
Every shipment is fully insured for the full value paid until it is safely signed for by the recipient.
Tracking
As soon as your shipment is arranged, I send full tracking details and an estimated arrival date.
International shipments may change timing due to export and import customs checks.
You can monitor progress at all times using your tracking link.
Delivery
Signature required on delivery.
If no one is home, you can usually rearrange delivery or redirect to a local UPS drop off point.
Processing Time
Orders are usually shipped within 2 to 3 working days after payment.
If there are any rare delays, I will contact you immediately.

Every artwork is fully insured for the complete purchase value.
Each piece is shipped with a signed Certificate of Authenticity and full documentation.
If there is visible damage to the box on arrival, take photos as you unwrap the package.
If the artwork itself is damaged, contact me immediately so I can resolve it quickly.
🌍 Customs and International Shipping
All artworks are shipped with full customs documentation for international and intercontinental delivery.
I monitor all packages leaving the EU.
I provide required information directly to customs authorities when needed.
Your contact details are given to the courier and they will contact you if any additional information is required.
International shipping can sometimes be delayed by customs authorities.
If a shipment is held, I actively follow up and push for customs release.
You will always receive updates if any delay occurs.
💰 Shipping Costs and International Fees
UK and EU Collectors
Free shipping to all EU countries and the UK.
International Collectors
Discounted shipping. I cover approximately 50 percent of the actual cost.
The final price including insurance is shown at checkout.

⚠️ Import Duties and Taxes
The purchaser is responsible for paying any import duties, customs fees, tariffs, VAT, or sales tax charged by the destination country.
These charges are not included at checkout.
I cover Spanish export customs inspections.
Import inspections and fees from local customs authorities are the responsibility of the purchaser. Minor customs fees may apply if your shipment is selected for physical inspection.
Please check your country’s import regulations before ordering as these charges are mandatory and not refundable.
Special Information for UK and US Collectors
United Kingdom
Due to post Brexit VAT laws, the minimum order value is €165 to process shipments. Orders below this amount will be cancelled and fully refunded.
Art attracts a reduced rate of 5 percent VAT on entry to the UK. This is payable online or on delivery.
United States
Works of art are currently exempt from 2025 US tariffs as of November 17, 2025. This may change without notice.
🖼️ Stretched and Rolled Shipping Options
Large artworks can be expensive to ship when stretched.
Rolled Shipping Option
Free worldwide.
The painting is carefully removed from its stretcher bars and rolled into a secure shipping tube.
Your cost
Local re-stretching by a framer or gallery is required at your expense.
Please contact me to discuss this option. It is not always possible, but I am happy to arrange it where feasible.
All measurements are in centimetres unless stated otherwise. Please inform your local framer of this.
↩️ Returns and Buyer Protection
14 Day Guarantee
If you are not happy with your artwork for any reason, excluding commissioned work, you have 14 days from delivery to arrange a return.
Conditions
Artwork must be returned in original condition and packaging.
Refund
A full refund of the artwork price will be issued once the piece is received and inspected.
Shipping costs are not included.
Damage on Return
If damage is found that was not reported on arrival, repair costs may be deducted from the refund where applicable.
Returns Due to Unpaid Import Fees
If artwork is returned because import fees or taxes were not paid, the full cost of the return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
The outstanding import charges must be resolved with the relevant authorities by the purchaser.
Refund is processed only after courier return costs have been confirmed.
🚨 Damage in Transit
All artwork is carefully checked before packing.
If your artwork arrives damaged, please take photos as you unpack and report it within 24 hours of delivery.
Do not discard the packaging.

Once received, I will immediately initiate the insurance claim.
Your options will always include a full refund.
Repair or replacement can also be discussed where appropriate.
🎨 Commissions and Bespoke Orders
Shipping for commissions is agreed individually at the time of defining the commission.
Commissioned artwork is excluded from the 14 day return policy.
📜 General Terms
14 day cooling off period for non commissioned artworks.
Defects or discrepancies must be reported within 7 days of delivery. If repair is not possible, a full or partial refund will be offered.

International shipping always carries a small level of risk. This is reduced through professional packing, full insurance, tracked delivery, signature required service and active shipment monitoring.
