This quote from my husband sums up how I felt working on this series of paintings almost exactly! "I began to work towards the inevitable conclusion that the horizons of my mind are only limited by the journeys that it takes. With every new bit of information, every new sight and glimpse of understanding, the restrictions of the imagination are lifted, little by little, step by step."

This original artwork uses a combination of acrylic and watercolour paints and pastels with gold leaf on a 3.5cm deep, gallery wrapped canvas. It is protected from dust and UV light by a thin layer of varnish. The painting continues around the sides of the canvas and is signed on the front.
