Mixed media using gold leaf on unstretched canvas

This is a very peaceful abstract, inspired by the waves lapping the shore at night.

This atmospheric, original artwork uses a unique combination of gold leaf, acrylic and watercolour paints and pastels on unstretched canvas. It is protected from dust and UV light by a thin layer of varnish. The painting size is 76 x 76cm and there is an extra 3cm border of unpainted canvas all the way around. It was designed to be mounted on a 70 x 70cm stretcher frame but is sold unstretched.

The artwork is signed on the back and provided with a certificate of authenticity.
