Mixed media using gold leaf on box canvas

Warm and comforting implications of the setting sun reflecting off the water's surface. Reality takes second place to the sensation of peace and of being caressed by the warmth of the final rays of sunlight.

This original composition uses a unique combination of gold leaf, acrylic and watercolour paints and pastels on a 3.5cm deep, gallery wrapped canvas. It is protected from dust and UV light by a thin layer of varnish. The sides are painted black, giving this artwork a highly contemporary finish. Framing is not required. 

The artwork is signed on the front and provided with a certificate of authenticity.
