This piece has a somewhat lighter, slightly more abstract feel than the others in the "Distant Horizons" series, with the sunlight breaking through a soft layer of cloud, to hit the hillside.

This original artwork uses a unique combination of gold leaf, acrylic and watercolour paints and pastels on a 3.5cm deep, gallery wrapped canvas. It is protected from dust and UV light by a thin layer of varnish. The painting continues around the sides of the piece, making this highly contemporary painting seem even larger than it is. Framing is not required. 

The artwork is signed on the frontand provided with a certificate of authenticity.
