This painting emerged from an experiment into the use of heavy texture paste and layers of cooler colours interacting with the warmth of the gold and copper leaf. 

The painting is shown in a matt black tray frame for display purposes only and is sold unframed.

This original painting uses a unique combination of gold, silver and copper leaf, acrylic and watercolour paints and pastels on a gallery wrapped canvas. It is protected from dust and UV light by a thin layer of varnish. The sides of the canvas are painted black, giving this artwork a contemporary finish. Framing is not required. 

The artwork is signed on the front and provided with a certificate of authenticity.
