Mixed media using gold leaf on box canvas

This loose, vibrant abstract landscape uses lots of texture and gold leaf to evoke a sense of long, hot summer evenings. The dusty, crimson skies and soft golden light eventually give way to the darkness of the evening.

This atmospheric, original artwork uses a unique combination of gold leaf, acrylic and watercolour paints and pastels on a 3.5cm deep, gallery wrapped canvas. It is protected from dust and UV light by a thin layer of varnish. The painting continues around the sides of the canvas. Framing is not required. 

The artwork is signed on the frontand provided with a certificate of authenticity.
