An abstract figurative in gold and blue. Building up gold and silver leaf and watercolours on a gesso and acrylic base, this painting is all about luminosity. As the lighting conditions change, it’s layered nature is gradually revealed.

This is one of the three original, archetypal paintings that I did in this style, from which I have drawn daily inspiration ever since.
